Spaulders trudging on

The spaulder pounding crew reconvened last night. We had a good time, but I'm a little suprised at how little we got done. All the cops are pounded out, I think everything is planished, and the basic curve is in all the lames. There's some fitting to do with them. Ty decided he wanted leather edging on his cops, and we burned a couple drill bits putting in the stitching holes, since they'd already been hardened.
I did make some progress on my left greave. I'm not sure if the taper-then-flare approach is any faster, but it's not done yet so the jury is still out.
