So many lames, so little time
Why on earth did they use so many lames on these sabatons? Just keeping all the pieces together is a roaring pain. Getting them all to flow together, match the curve of the top of the foot, have enough overlap for articulation and consistent spacing to look even, and cover down to the bottom of the foot is way harder than I expected it to be. Plus the weight is going to be higher because there's so much overlap. They'll look great when they're done, but, man patterning these guys sucks. On the plus side I'm learning a fair bit doing it.
