I stole this from Robert's Facebook page. He's the one getting a Sable Falcon from Aaron. I'm on the right in the shiny breastplate.

The breastplate looks better than I expected honestly. Since then I've been wearing it under the surcoat because it appears to be the more common approach for knights in France in my era.
