Polishing cops
Here are the cops after a little over an hour of sanding and polishing:
On the inside you can still see the forge scale, which is very resistant to coming off. The creases near the edge flare are tricky and time consuming to clean up. I've resorted to files and sand paper to get deep into the V, though the Gator wheels can come close. The next step is the blue Gator wheel, and then on to buffing.
The three cop-like things in the background are pieces I did while I was ironing out a pattern I liked. They may one day get used in loaner gear or a yard sale or something.
